Nominations were announced Dec. 8 for the 83rd Golden Globe Awards.
Marlon Wayans and Skye P. Marshall got up early to help reveal the 2026 nominations at an in-person announcement at the Beverly Hilton. They were joined by Golden Globes president Helen Hoehne and presented the nominees for each of the 28 award categories. Last year, Mindy Kaling and Morris Chestnut helped reveal the nominations.

The lineup includes 27 returning categories, plus the new annual Best Podcast category to "honor the extraordinary and diverse talents in the medium." This year, all 28 award categories feature six nominees, with the exception of Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, which includes eight.
The most nominated motion picture is "One Battle After Another" with nine, followed by "Sentimental Value" with eight and "Sinners" with seven.
The top television series or programs are "The White Lotus" with six nominations and "Adolescence" with five.
The 83rd Golden Globe Awards will air live coast to coast on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT from The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, on CBS and Paramount+ Premium.
Comedian Nikki Glaser is set to return as host. She was the first woman to solo host Hollywood's "party of the year."
Two years ago, the Globes shifted to CBS for the first time in more than four decades, from its longtime home on NBC. In March 2024, CBS closed a five-year deal to continue to broadcast the awards show.
New this year is "Golden Eve," a new primetime special honoring recipients of the Cecil B. DeMille Award and Carol Burnett Award, to air on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS and Paramount+. The special will feature career retrospectives, never-before-seen footage and in-depth conversations with the honorees. This is part of a planning "Golden Week," leading up to the awards.
